Just as I was drawing the final line on this image the woman next to me bumped my arm and “ruined” it.
Because I sketch in pen, I had three choices: give up, start over, or try to fix it. I opted to fix it and turned that “bump” into beautiful lines of hair and this piece -- made from a “mistake” -- has become one of my favorites of all time.
