I sketched Iris at my favorite French Bistro on the Upper East Side of New York. Like me, she was sitting alone having a lovely dinner all by herself. She reminded me of Iris Apfel, the fashion icon. Though she isn’t Iris, I feel certain she has a fabulous story of her own…
